Intellectual Property Protection: The firm assists clients in all aspects of procuring, maintaining, and enforcing intellectual property rights before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and U.S. Copyright Office. We also assist clients in all phases of international patent and trademark prosecution. This assistance includes a wide range of legal services related to client counseling and compliance with U.S. procedures and regulations.

Intellectual Property Licensing: The firm assists clients in the analysis of their intellectual property portfolio to optimize domestic and international licensing, enforcement, and defensive strategies. Furthermore, we advise clients concerning patent and trademark licensing agreements, technology transfer agreements, assignments, joint venture and distribution agreements, and the negotiation of such licenses and agreements.

Intellectual Property Counseling: The firm advises its clients on the patentability of inventions and renders patent validity, infringement, product clearance, and trademark clearance opinions.

Intellectual Property Litigation Support: The firm provides analysis, for both plaintiffs and defendants, in all types of intellectual property disputes, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, false advertising and other forms of unfair competition, and trade secret misappropriation. Additionally, we serve as expert witnesses and provide opinions of counsel in support or defense of litigation.

Due Diligence: The firm has experience conducting and reporting due diligence investigations for the transfer of intellectual property in commercial transactions up to, and including, the sale and merger of international business entities.
